Getting Started

MauPass Corporate is a secure online platform that allows entities such as companies, associations, organisations, ministries and agencies to manage access to digital eServices. It allows an entity to register, manage MauPass users, assign roles and control who can transact online on behalf of the entity.
MauPass Corporate is used to manage corporate access to government and non-government eServices. It helps entities authorise their MauPass users to access services, perform transactions and manage service-specific roles in a secure and centralised way.
MauPass Corporate can be used by companies, organisations, individuals, management companies, ministries, government departments, parastatal organisations, government agencies and authorised representatives.
Yes. Users must authenticate using their personal MauPass account before accessing MauPass Corporate. MauPass Corporate does not manage personal login credentials directly.

Yes. Users must complete Two-Factor Authentication on MauPass. If 2FA is not yet activated, the user must activate it through a Post Office or through the Helpdesk for KYC verification.

Entity Registration

Go to the MauPass Corporate homepage and click on Registration or Register Your Entity. You will be redirected to MauPass to log in. After successful login and Two-Factor Authentication, you will be redirected back to the entity registration screen.
MauPass Corporate retrieves personal details from the MauPass account, including first name, surname, National Identity Number or passport details, email address and mobile number.
There are two types of registration:

Basic Registration: Used for standard entity registration.
Validated Registration: Requires a MauSign digital certificate and provides access to high-assurance eServices.
Basic Entity Registration allows an administrator to register an entity using a personal MauPass account. The required entity details usually include the company file number or BRN number, depending on the entity type.
Validated Entity Registration requires the upload of a MauSign digital certificate issued in the name of the entity. Entities registered as validated can access eServices that require a higher level of assurance.
Ministries, government departments and parastatal organisations must register using Validated Registration with a MauSign digital certificate.
Yes. An entity administrator can log in to MauPass Corporate and upload a valid MauSign digital certificate to upgrade the entity from Basic to Validated status.

Login and Common Issues

Once your entity has been registered, click Login with MauPass from the MauPass Corporate portal. You will be redirected to MauPass for authentication and Two-Factor Authentication.

If you are not the person who registered the entity, your organisation administrator must first add you as a MauPass User under the entity before you can access MauPass Corporate.

Login with MauPass
This means that your organisation has already been registered on MauPass Corporate by another authorised user.

You should contact the administrators of your organisation and request them to add you as a MauPass User under the registered entity.

Once you have been added, you will be able to log in and access the entity according to the roles assigned to you.
This means your MauPass account has been successfully authenticated, but your MauPass account has not yet been linked to any entity on MauPass Corporate.

You must contact your company or organisation administrators and request them to add you as a MauPass User under the appropriate entity on MauPass Corporate.

Note: Only existing MauPass users can be added under an entity.
Passwords are managed directly on MauPass. You must reset your password on the MauPass platform, as password reset cannot be performed within MauPass Corporate.
After successful authentication, the user is redirected to the MauPass Corporate dashboard. The dashboard displayed depends on the user’s role and linked entity.
Yes. When accessing an integrated eService, users can log in using MauPass and represent their registered entity through MauPass Corporate.

Adding MauPass Users

The administrator can click Add Employees from the dashboard or go to the Employees section under the Administration menu.

Users added on MauPass Corporate must already be registered MauPass users. The administrator is not creating a new MauPass account; the administrator is linking an existing MauPass user to the entity.
No. Only existing MauPass users can be added under an entity on MauPass Corporate.

If the person does not yet have a MauPass account, they must first register on MauPass. Once the MauPass account exists, the entity administrator can add the user under the entity.

Information may include entity type, company name, company file number, BRN, office phone number, address, date of incorporation and country of incorporation for foreign entities.
Ministries, departments and parastatal organisations must provide the required organisation details, including BRN, TAN, office details, address and MauSign digital certificate for validated registration.
Foreign entities must provide their company details, including company name, company or file number, BRN if applicable, address, office phone number and country of incorporation.

  2. Go to the My Companies menu.

eServices

An eService is an online service that allows users to access information or perform transactions digitally. eServices may be provided by government institutions or non-government organisations.
The administrator can click Access Govt e-Services from the dashboard or go to the eServices menu. The system will display the list of eServices available to the entity.
Some eServices can be assigned directly by selecting them. However, eServices that require Back Office Validation must be requested and approved by the respective eService administrator.
Back Office Validation is an approval process required by some eServices before an entity is allowed to transact. The eService administrator reviews the request, may request supporting documents, and then approves or declines access.
An email is sent to the respective eService administrator. Once the request is reviewed, the entity receives an email notification informing whether the request has been approved or declined.
Yes. An authorised administrator can remove an assigned eService using the remove option from the eServices screen.

Roles and Permissions

Yes. Each MauPass user can be assigned specific roles for each eService, depending on the entity’s internal authorisation requirements.

MauSign Certificate

The MauSign certificate should be issued in the name of the entity and may include information such as the organisation name and director’s email address.
Notifications are sent to entity administrators before the certificate expires. If a new certificate is not uploaded by the expiry date, the entity may lose access to high-assurance eServices and may be downgraded.
